Rear Admiral Jimmie W. Taylor USN (ret.)

()Jimmie Taylor attended UT, MTSU and graduated from San Diego State University. He earned his Naval Aviator wings in September 1958. RADM Taylor's aviation career of more than 30 years was spent in cockpits aboard most of the Navy's aircraft carriers. During five combat cruises he flew some 200 missions. He had numerous command and staff positions culminating with Chief of Naval Air Training responsible for all flight training in the U.S. Navy, Marines and Coast Guard and was also responsible for the U. S. Navy Blue Angels.
