Thom Duncan Avionics named 2026 Aviation Business of the Year


The Board of Directors of the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame is proud to

 announce the selection of Thom Duncan Avionics, located in Winchester, TN, as

 the 2026 Tennessee Aviation Business of the Year! 


Thom Duncan began his business in 2019 following a 20+ year career working with

 Bob Carpenter of Carpenter Avionics. 


Thom Duncan Avionics (TDA) is an authorized retailer and installer of Aspen,

 Garmin, Genesys Aerosystems, Avidyne and PS Engineering avionics products. The

 team at TDA has built a reputation as a superior installation and repair facility for

 a vast number and variety of General Aviation aircraft.

 

The locally built small business attracts customers from not only Tennessee, but

 throughout the Eastern United States. The company relocated to the Winchester

 (TN) Municipal Airport (KBGF) in September 2025 and employs 3 technicians, in addition to

Thom and Tessa Duncan. 


Thom Duncan Avionics will be recognized and presented with the award at the

 2026 Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame Enshrinement Gala

AVIATION HALL OF FAME DONATES BOOKS Tennessee State Museum aviation partner, The Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame, has donated a group of aviation books written especially for small children to the Museum. TAHF Founder Bob Minter delivered the books to Morgan Bryn of the museum’s special Children’s Gallery where little ones can explore learning elements designed especially for them.
